.NAME Domains

Started in 2001, the Dot NAME generic domain extension is the single TLD meant for personal web pages only. These domain names can include personal or fictitious names, nicknames and/or other labels people are popular by. At first, just 3rd-level registrations were allowed, so if you wished to book john.doe.name, you were supposed to do that under .doe.name. In 2004, however, the registration procedures were loosened and second-level registrations were also allowed. Already grabbed third-level names remained working.

Through our firm, you can reserve your dot NAME domain for a time interval between 1 and 10 years. You will have the opportunity to update the WHOIS contacts, to park your domain, to create Custom DNS records, etc. You can also move over an active domain to our company if you have its EPP transfer key from the present registration service provider and we will renew it after the transfer has been done. There are no special requirements on who can book a .NAME domain, but in order to keep the goal behind its establishment alive, the dot NAME Registry may verify who the owner is and if there is no relation between the owner and the actual domain name, the registration can be challenged.
